Facilities Field Manager

We are seeking a Facilities Field Manager to lead and support our maintenance teams. This individual will oversee field operations, manage day-to-day maintenance activities, self-perform skilled work as needed, provide crew training, and ensure all preventative maintenance and project tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crew Oversight & Scheduling:

    • Supervise and coordinate all field maintenance crews.

    • Assign daily tasks and ensure timely and quality completion.

    • Provide hands-on leadership and step in to perform skilled labor when necessary.

  • Training & Development:

    • Train and mentor new and existing crew members on safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and equipment use.

    • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.

  • Work Order & Ticket Management:

    • Monitor, manage, and prioritize incoming work orders and maintenance tickets.

    • Ensure timely completion and accurate documentation in the ticketing system.

  • Project Management:

    • Lead and complete small-scale facilities and infrastructure projects.

    • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors as needed.

  • Tool & Equipment Control:

    • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.

    • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of all tools.

  • Fleet & Equipment Maintenance:

    • Manage preventative maintenance schedules for all company vehicles and field equipment.

    • Coordinate service and repairs to reduce downtime.

  • Reporting & Compliance:

    • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or construction, including supervisory experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair.

  • Ability to read blueprints, maintenance manuals, and technical documents.

  • Experience managing work orders and maintenance ticket systems (e.g., CMMS).

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Able to lift 50+ lbs, work in varying conditions, and travel between sites as needed.
